Broadband points and fault finding
Broadband points
We can install specialised broadband points or standard telephone points for use with an ADSL filter. Our recommendation would always be to install a specialised point, as this will incur lower signal loss, giving the best possible connection speed. We use the highest grade of cable available for provision of our installations, which minimises signal loss on the network. Whilst at your we will inspect the existing cabling and advise on it's suitability.
Broadband fault finding
Should your internet service not be functioning correctly we have the skills to diagnose the problem and rectify it . Typical faults include repeated signal loss and poor speed, our broadband fault finding skills allow us to identify the location of the fault and rectify it. Having completed the repair, we will test the circuit and demonstrate the results to you. Whilst every care is taken to ensure as little disturbance to your home as possible, sometimes cabling may need to be replaced, this is likely to be the case where low grade cable has been used. Broadband fault finding can be a lengthy process, when you make an appointment for us to call we will always endeavour to arrive promptly and on time, however we will call you to advise of any delay and of the engineers expected time or arrival.
Home computer networks
We are able to install small home networks be it wired or wireless. All wired networks are fully tested and we issue a certificate to prove the network is installed to the required standards. Our wireless networks are installed to the highest possible standards, security of the network being of utmost importance. If you have an existing wireless network we can run a security scan to check to see if you are susceptible to attack by hackers.
