Additional telephone extensions
If you require an additional telephone extension, we can install it with the minimum of fuss, usually within two days of calling us.Our prices are competitive, BT will charge £166 to install the first point and £50 for every additional point, we charge from £40 per point. From a telephone socket to a complete rewire all our work comes with a 12 month guarantee against parts and faulty workmanship.
Rewire and fault finding
If you have faulty wiring or need a telephone extension moving we can under take all work at a competitive rate we charge £20 for the first half hour plus £10 per quarter hour plus parts. Compared with BT who charge £116 per hour for the first hour the £99 per hour there after or part of, plus parts.
Upgrade
We can upgrade your master telephone socket to the latest split fronted master telephone socket (nte5a).This will allow you to disconnect your telephone extensions from the BT network should a fault occur.It is useful to be able to do this, as BT will ask you to disconnect your internal wiring aspart of their test proceedur. If you are unable to do this and BT call out and trace the fault to your internal wiring the are likley to raise a call out charge of £116, this charge maybe also applied to intermittent faults where at the time of the visit, the BT enegineer is unable to find a fault. The cost of a new master socket is £30 installed.
