Telephone Lines and Broadband
Whatever your business we are able to supply the right line to suit your business needs. The choice of business line consists of analogue, ISDN and VOIP,
- ANALOGUE LINES: also refered to as POTS (plain old telephone service) is the original telephone line, offering single line or multiple lines for inbound and outbound calls. An analogue line is also required for the provision of broadband services.
- ISDN: When it comes to ISDN, we can offer ISDN2 services which are pairs of ISDN lines - or "channels" as they are commonly known. ISDN2e is BT's high-performance voice and data service for small business offices. With a basic installation you can connect up to 8 digital devices and make 2 calls at once. A 2-channel ISDN2e circuit costs about the same as 2 conventional phone lines, but it offers higher quality and far greater potential.ISDN2 is generally cost effective up to 8 channels; beyond this a client should consider ISDN2's larger cousin - ISDN30. ISDN30 offers all of the same features and benefits as ISDN2 and comes in a minimum of 8 channels, and can be expanded to 100's of channels if required. ISDN30 is nearly always connected to a compatible Telephone System.
- VOIP:Businesses that have recently installed or upgraded their phone system will be aware of it's VoIP capability and will want to make some or full use of the VoIP capability and not only communicate over IP within the enterprise, but also outside the enterprise. A SIP Trunk provided by an Internet Telephony Service Provider to connect to the traditional PSTN network is the solution. Unlike in traditional telephony, where bundles of physical wires were once delivered from the service provider to a business, a SIP trunk allows a company to replace these traditional fixed PSTN lines with PSTN connectivity via a SIP trunking service provider on the Internet.SIP trunks can offer significant cost-savings for enterprises, eliminating the need for local PSTN gateways, costly ISDN BRIs (Basic Rate Interfaces) or PRIs (Primary Rate Interfaces). Our SIP Trunk service provides a simple, cost effective solution for business customers that want a VoIP Telephone Service for use with ther SIP enabled VoIP Phone System, or for use with legacy PSTN and ISDN systems with the use of a SIP VoIP Gateway. SIP Trunks provide a competitive solution for extra telephone lines or for adding extra DDI Capability or back-up of traditional telephone line solutions.
